Spa on the Breck is situated inside the totally transformed YMCA Poulton Health and Fitness Centre, owned by Wyre Council and operated in partnership with YMCA.
This May bank holiday weekend marks the official opening of the luxurious new spa facilities and the completion of the first phase of Wyre Council’s ambitious £5.1 million plans to totally reinvent leisure time in Wyre.
The first phase of Wyre Council’s £2 million investment at the centre in Poulton was unveiled last November, launching a brand new state-of-the-art gym powered by Life Fitness and purpose built group fitness studio to complement the existing swimming pool.
The big reveal of the £3.1 million transformation of YMCA Thornton Health and Fitness Centre followed in March bringing one of the largest state-of-the-art gyms in the region, Spinning studio, multiple fitness class studios, creche and activity room, squash courts, sports hall with badminton courts, outdoor 3G pitches and introducing brand new YMCA Bowl and Air Skate Park.
