Am I eligible to rent an apartment in Paterson House?
If you are 18 to 25 in work or an apprenticeship you are eligible to apply to live in Paterson house.
Each person’s application will be considered on a case by case basis by our housing team.
I would like to move out but I don't know if will I be able to afford it?
YMCA Fylde Coast has tried to ensure that the costs of moving will be as minimal as possible while also meeting our requirements as a landlord.
The YMCA will not be charging any letting fees to successful tenants; however, tenants will be required to provide a deposit on the apartment for any potential repairs or damages.
If you are moving out of your parents’ house or university accommodation and you are concerned about your ability to furnish the apartment the YMCA will help you secure furniture that you will pay for each month.
At the end of the payments the furniture will be yours to take away with you if you move out of Paterson house.
