On Tuesday 10 October, World Mental Health Day 2017, the NHS, YMCA and young people from around the world will come together to challenge the stigma that is stopping individuals affected by mental health difficulties speaking out and seeking help.

Celebrating a milestone birthday at the YMCA on the Fylde Coast took a community turn, thanks to some extraordinary young people.

YMCA Foyer Refurbishment

We are exciting to share our first pictures of  the refurbishment of the YMCA Foyer which started last year and is due for completion in May of this year. The first phase of the work saw improvements made to the roof as well as the replacement of all the external windows with the internal work starting in October 2020. The final phase is now nearing completion and has focused on the internal refurbishment of several accommodation units as pictured.

This project has been funded completely via external funds received from the Nationwide and the Lofthouse Foundation.

YMCA Jubilee Cottage

Jubilee Cottage Trust was founded in 1979 and is managed by Fylde Coast YMCA Housing.

Jubilee Cottage is located at the heart of St Annes with the town centre a 5-minute walk away. The property is located close to public transport routes are also buses into town, northwards to Blackpool and Cleveleys and southwards to Lytham. The seafront is a 10-minute walk away. Each flat is self-contained with its own kitchen and shower room. Residents can have as much privacy or social interaction as they choose.
